Privacy
On the social media pages of the City of Potsdam and Potsdam Museum – Forum for Art and History, you leave the websites www.potsdam.de and www.potsdam-museum.de and access content hosted on external servers (e.g. Facebook). The City of Potsdam does not store personal data of fans at any time. Any data you enter on our fan page (e.g. comments or links) is never used or shared by the City of Potsdam or Potsdam Museum – Forum for Art and History for any other purposes.
However, as the operator of the fan page, the City of Potsdam has no influence over how your data is processed by the platform operators (e.g. Facebook). It cannot be ruled out that Facebook, for example, may use your profile data or share it with third parties. This may include information about your habits, personal relationships, and preferences.
Facebook, in particular, is frequently associated with data protection concerns. We would therefore like to point out that neither www.potsdam.de nor www.potsdam-museum.de uses “social plugins”.
